Privacy policy

How Delta Spark Electrical handles enquiry details, contact form data, and cookie choices.

Who we are

Delta Spark Electrical is an electrical services business. For privacy questions, use mark@deltaspark.co.uk or call 07387 197039.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, the contact form collects the details you provide: name, email address, phone number, service needed, job postcode, preferred contact time, and message. The form also includes basic anti-spam fields and timing information so obvious automated spam can be rejected.

The website and hosting services may also process basic technical data, such as IP address, browser information, request time, and server logs, to keep the website secure and working.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to respond to your message, discuss the job, provide estimates or quotes, arrange work, and keep a record of the conversation. We use security and server log information to protect the website and diagnose technical issues.

Lawful basis

Contact form data is used because it is needed to respond to your enquiry and take steps before entering into a contract. Security logging is handled under legitimate interests. Analytics cookies, when added, will only be used with your consent.

Where it goes

Enquiries are sent through the website hosting and email delivery setup. This may include Amazon Web Services for hosting and email delivery, and Google services if messages are forwarded to a Gmail inbox. We do not sell enquiry details.

How long we keep it

Enquiry messages are kept only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, quote, and follow-up. If the enquiry becomes paid work, some records may be kept for longer where needed for accounting, tax, legal, warranty, or insurance purposes.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses essential local storage to remember your cookie choice. Analytics are off by default, are not required to use the site, and only load after you accept analytics cookies. If you reject analytics, Umami analytics scripts are not loaded.

Umami is the intended analytics provider and will be used for basic website measurement such as page views, quote button clicks, phone link clicks, and enquiry journey performance. You can reopen the cookie prompt at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. You can also object to some processing. To make a request, contact mark@deltaspark.co.uk.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your data is handled.
